This transmission comes BD Tapshift ready which includes a new gear lever, gear selection display, and control module with fingertip shifting. The 48RE Tapshifter unlocks full electronic gear selection, torque converter lock-up control, gear limiting function and a full manual gear mode. The stock transmission is designed to handle the output of the stock engine, but not much more. Increase the durability of your drivetrain with a BD transmission. All transmissions come with BD’s heavy duty transmission pan and most packages come bundled with our auxiliary transmission filter kit for added protection! Comes with Billet Input Shaft designed to withstand rapid acceleration and high torque.
